At the Driving Edge, we will usually offer you a driving test in one of the areas where our experienced, fully qualifiedand DSA Approved driving instructors (with five years experience) are based -Sale, Stockport, West Didsbury, Congleton, Crewe, Newcastle-under Lyme, Cobridge, Northwich, Failsworth, Hyde, Bury, Rochdale, Bolton, Atherton, St Helens, Cheetham Hill, Widnes, Chester, Rhyl, Bangor, Wrexham, Macclesfield or Buxton; and ideally we will be teaching you to drive in one of these areas close to where you live.
We are a very flexible company and will arrange your driving course at times convenient to you (including evening and weekends/at no extra charge). Courses can be completed over one to two weeks or over three to six weeks depending on suitablility for you.

12 hr course = £295
Advanced Driver 1 -Suitable for driver who can control the car and needs to practise manoeuvres, practice in the test area and do a mock test (time permitting). Driver may have taken their test before.
15 hr course = £350
Advanced Driver 2 -Suitable for driver who can control the car and needs to learn and practice some of the manoeuvres, practice in the test area and do a mock test (time permitting). Driver may not have taken test before.
20 hr course = £435
Intermediate Driver 1 -Suitable for driver who has some control of the car, needs to learn manouevres, practice in test area and do a mock test (time permitting). Driver will probably have not taken test before.
25 hr course = £520
Intermediate Driver 2 - Suitable for driver has is working on the control of the car, needs to learn manouevres, practice in test area and do a mock test (time permitting). Driver will probably not taken test before.
30 hr course = £610
Beginner 1 - Learning to drive for the first time. Good co-ordination who picks up things quickly -maybe plays a lot of sport!
35 hr course = £695
Beginner 2 - Learning to drive for the first time. Reasonable co-ordination who picks up things fairly quickly.
40 hr course = £785
Beginner 3 - Absolute beginner with fair co-ordination who wishes to make sure that they have plenty of time to learn to drive!
We can also prepare your theory test as well as booking this for you. Just add £35 to the cost. Transport to your theory test location as part of the course may be possible in the event of urgent timescales.
BE CAREFUL: Not all crash course companies train you in the area where you are doing your test. Your test could be up to 1 hour away (for example Wales or Cumbria etc) and you won't find this out until you have paid with potentially no possibility of refunds. Also many companies do not include the cost of the driving test at £65 in their prices.
In the unlikely event that for some reason you are unsuccessful in your practical driving test; you will not need to redo the whole course again. Simply book a 1 or 2 hr refresher lesson and redo your test again. Unlike some other crash course companies, we will continue support you until you have passed your test!
Other Crash Course companies do not offer one to one tuition. You may be doing a car sharing course with another pupil. At Driving Edge we only provide courses with one to one tuition.
It is possible to pay in cash, by cheque, credit or debit card on paypal or via direct online payments. It is also possible to pay at your local high street bank.
